Working from home mostly, every so often have to go into the hospital but face to face education and meetings are out so Zoom it is. Concentrating on critical education like restrictive transfusion regimes so small engaged groups of doctors and I love love love Zoom meetings - can mute someone with a click!

Still popping in to see Mum with her shopping and meals and doing a bit of housework like changing her bed linen which is too hard for her these days. Can’t stay as long and have a natter but we do that on the phone.

Loving Telehealth not having to exhaust her with the trip is great and I don’t miss the drive to Peter Mac let alone the parking.

Don’t have to make excuses for not going to things I don’t want to ( which is most things) is an absolute bonus as is no Church - the bliss of quiet on a Sunday morning on the deck with a coffee Razz

I’m quite enjoying it TBH!

TP hope your dad is ok - plenty of empty beds at this stage

thankyou, so far so good, and gee your Mums amazing! so happy for you both. xx

I'm ok. Still working (However as of yesterday, am on annual leave as I'm supposed to be in Brisbane for Lions Vs Pies).

The Mrs still working (On school holidays, but still working).

I've done a few jobs around the house, had a loan pre-approved to buy, but am now waiting to see what the market does. I've watched a few movies and got the platinum trophy on Uncharted 4.

My parents are going ok. Both semi-retired. They live near the Brandon Park shops where the Coles had 2 staff catch it. I haven't seen them for a few weeks now, but dropped some stuff off on their doorstep.

I had a tooth removal cancelled as well as the Sum 41/Offspring concert and my trip to Brisbane.

I felt crap at the start, but I think we'll get through ok?

Looking forward to footy coming back and hoping Australia don't get anymore deaths because of this thing.

We are 14 days into self isolation and its really upsetting for me to see my wife standing at the window gazing aimlessly into space with tears running down her cheeks. It breaks my heart to see her like this. I have thought very hard about how I could cheer her up. I have even considered letting her in...but rules are rules.

I’m still working, although it’s very quiet.
Thankfully the boss is looking after those that have looked after him. Seems after 14 years I qualify. Most of the 80+ staff have been stood down without pay, including no annual leave payments. Hopefully this way we’ll be able to ride out the quietness and re-open. If we paid everyone their leave that’d be unlikely.

Anyone need a new car??

I'm trying not to attract police attention, unlike this chap:

A 31-year-old man Palm Beach will face drug charges after Queensland Police allegedly found 93 kilograms of cannabis during a stop at a state border checkpoint on Wednesday.

....

A 31-year-old Palm Beach man was arrested and charged with the possession of dangerous drugs and the possession of property suspected of be used in connection with a drug offence.

He has been bailed to appear at the Coolangatta Magistrates Court on 6 July, 2020.

The man was also issued a $1,334 infringement notice for breaching the state’s public health orders.
Shocked

^ Just about Darwin Award material. Mind numbing stupidity.

I reckon he must have started out with 100kg of dope and smoked 7 kilos of it on the way to the border.

Nissan, Kia and a great selection of pre owned. Unfortunately no Coronas 😉

I don’t actually sell the cars, I sell the finance, nice cheap rates at the moment for new cars 👍🏻

Highway police have been left baffled after idiotic road users have disobeyed desperate pleas to stay at home.

Among the idiots was a motorcyclist caught more than 123km/h over the limit who told police he was on an urgent mission to buy hand sanitiser.

That was my first (and to this day only) car! A beige 1984 model, to be precise. Drove fine for twelve months until I crashed it. Crying or Very sad
