Following coronavirus fears, AU$ currently down 0.5 per cent to 65.34 US cents... the lowest level since March 2009.

Yeah, and you can't buy it for that much either. Currently getting it for about .62c. When I started putting USD aside for my trip next month I was getting it at around .66-.67c

I keep an eye on the trends and just keep a steady $5k on my card, useful for purchases too

That’s why flights are so cheap too. Travelling here this year, if I get sick I’d rather be in an Aussie hospital! Actually I just want to plan my dream trip next year so hubby gets his caravan dream this year!

Try finding somewhere to cash in USD, they're apparently not giving a rate so the few hundred USD I have I'm stuck with for the time being.
My cash card however made me a nice little return on the conversion $$$ Smile

17 million tonnes of Iron Ore a week exported @ $A160/tonne is the only thing saving our arse at the minute!

$A2.72 billion a week, I see why they want us to stay in production!

Haven't tried a bank as yet, only a travel money place. Wouldn't convert.
