If degoey goes into mids then there's plenty of room in forward line for him

MTTM, just reported on Fox Footy that Hawks, Melbourne and another club (Kangas????) have all offered him contracts with better pay and longer terms than we have. Looks like he'll be leaving, which is just devastating.
I hate the way footy has become so dominated by money.

So why don't we match it?
They wouldn't be offering extravagant amounts, given his injury history. I'm sure he'd stay even if we were just a little under what they're offering. With all the players we have potentially retiring this year, surely we can afford it??

Really hope this is right.
and your other comment is also 100% right. If JDG is going to be that extra mid we need, then Jamie is a required member of our forward line.

It's an imaginary dilemma. If he goes to Hawthorn, he'll play another 250 games. If he stays at Collingwood, his spine will spontaneously combust during the next pre-season.

Words almost fail me!!!
He's a bloody star that we would be absolute fuckwits to let go.
Why would Hawthorn want him? Because he is a star.
Replaceable? With who?
Get real!!!!!
And we paid $£$%^%%$ Wells trillions for nothing.

Well, it's too late to poach Hawthorn's fitness guy, because Carlton already did that last year. Wink
(Don't know if that made any difference to either club.)

And more.
For what he contributes to the team and results I'd keep him over Grundy.

We'd be damn fools to let him Jamie go.
If HAW are keen, there's a reason why.
They don't go after shit players, they're a ruthless Club & are always looking to improve on what they already have.

Trust!
