64 just kicked a ripper near the 50 at a 45 degree angle more or less

I don’t like the rule, but NM pinged for dragging it in. Lane will take the free 45m out, straight over the umps head.

34-15

Keane strong over head mark after NM get the centre clearance.

Lynch superb tap down the throat of M Smith who kicks it forward, Atu pressuring, pressuring. Wins the free as the siren sounds. Atu will kick on goal, it’s through!

Pies players swarm him!!

Coll 6.4 40
North 2.3 15

Funny seeing Gavin Brown descend the stairs plotting against his son!

That’s it for moi. Been at work since 7am: time to go home & get ready to marvel at Marvel. Marvellous.

In a largely ugly half of footy where it’s difficult to stand out I’ve looked for the little things.

Noble - looks full of energy, neat skills and nice pace

Brown - not a heap of footy, but I like that he keeping moving as opposed to being stationary at the stoppages

Atu - great pressure and surprisingly clean in these conditions, goal after the siren was a nice reward for effort

Hetherington bombs one high as he snaps inside 50. Crocker marks but his kick on goal can’t come back enough.

41-16

Keane with another strong mark, this time he clears with a thumping 60m kick.

Goldsack great spoil, Wellings gathers defensive side of the centre square, runs, kicks to Crocker, drops the mark, gathers, snaps from 45, bounces through!

Nice play pies!

47-16

Tyler Brown seems to be a non-starter this half. Off to Marvel? Scharenberg playing seniors?

Yes Noble looks ok.
Ithought wilson was tall.
But he only seems average height.
I had to leave at half time.
It was difficult to see the players in the rain and
gloomy conditions.
Atu did some nice things and then did some ordinary things.
So my jury is still out on him.
Goldsack was played down back all the time.
But the most important thing was the berg was left out.
Hope he plays tonight.

Boundary ump comes in 10m to throw the ball in. I can see why his resultant throw travelled higher than the 5m distance he gained.

NM run onto the footy after a throw in, clear path left towards goal, which he kicks over.

48-24
