Wow,what a heart stopper. It felt like we did everything we could to lose that game, and yet we still won in the end.I’m so proud of this team, and even if we lose next week,it’s still going to be a very successful season to me.

Spot on, my thoughts exactly, im just rapt we have won a Final, that's all I wanted really, after making top four. Now we get a free hit at the tigers, with no flag at stake, could not be better. They will be hot faves, love it, we underdogs, just hit em with everything. So proud of the boys, but bloody hell, im stuffed, buggered, that was heart stopping that one. Phew. Fantastic win Pies, great. Exclamation Very Happy

Quite incredible.

Esp. when considering the Treloar and Goldy comebacks.

Sidey was mercurial. Smile

Absolutely pumped. On some of our less regarded players:

- How good was WHE? He won some crucial contests and was our most dangerous aerial threat up forward
- Mason Cox played his role superbly. He wasn't beaten too often and took some big marks in the last qtr.
- Maynard, take a bow. Has really matured this year. That's 2 great finals in a row.
- Ditto Goldsack. Completely shut down Cameron.

In relation to our superstars:
- Adz played a massive last quarter but was also great in spurts in the first 3
- Brodie really lifted in the 2nd half after Lobbe shaded him on impact in the 1st half
- Sidey was BOG
- Pendles really bounced back and showed leadership in the guts
- JDG dangerous all night. Could have been BOG if he converted all his chances

On the train heading back with my son. He’s optimistic about next week. We’re not sure we could have played any worse and still won, but a great victory for the ages. De Goey finally got his game together and Cox was superb after his quiet effort last week. Howe’s corkie has obviously healed well give his effort for MOTY in the second (?) quarter. Two very happy sons and one reasonably pleased father.

Pretty much! Not only a free hit at the Tigers, but we’ve played into a little form, here. If we manage to knock the Tigers over, the GF becomes really winnable (West Coast in Melbourne or Melbourne travelling back from Perth).

We’re deserving, huge underdogs. But make no mistake: next week is the Grand Final.
