Great goal from Blair, clearly our best in the second half

That is not as impressive as you make it out to be...

Agreed. It's pretty much an indictment on the rest, as Blair hasn't been that good.

His intercept mark and goal aside, I would file his game away under "useless".

Which doesn't exactly say much for the rest of the side.

But I'm sure he'll be named our best...

The intercept mark was caused by a crocker tackle. Blair was just standing there and the ball hit him on the chest.

I genuinely can't tell when you're being serious and when you're taking the proverbial these days...

Too many injuries meaning too few bigger bodies missing and too many goalkickers missing

Have about 5 Players in the AFL Side that be in the VFL Side with Smaller Injury List

Players:
Mayne
Appelby
Cox
Mihocek
Daicos
Greenwood

Right place and right time. He looked to me to be the best for most of the second half, put his body in when needed. This is not to say he's a star but he seemed to do plenty of grunt work. Many others were far less conspicuous.

I only saw the second half and would agree with those choices. Hetherington, Hore & Wellings impressed. Shame they're not KPP

I know he's got great physicality and can withstand tacking and stand and still get the ball out, but does anyone else worry that Wills is a one trick pony? Can he do much else? I'm not trying to knock the kid, but I'm beginning to understand why he has struggled to force his way into the seniors. Sier seems to have a little more going for him, but even he doesn't seem to do much.
