It's Geelong mate. They always get the umpiring decisions. Those Scott brothers are the biggest whingers in the coaches box and they must be appeased.

The truth is, one of the most influential AFL commissioners (Carter) retired recently and guess the position he took up. President of Geelong.

He is a personal friend and has a personal hatred for the pies. no doubt those influences are never brought to bear at AFL.

Yep- Lonergan seems to play under different rules than other defenders (Talia from the crows is almost in his league).

I have heard rumours about Mr Lonergan, which may or may not go some way to explaining why he gets such favourable treatment.

I thought they changed the rule or at least the interpretation? A push out is a free but not a simple touch. Either way I think the one we're talking about should have been a free.
