Once Frost is officially upgraded, we'll have rookie picks 8, 26 and 43. With pick 60 allocated to Armstrong.

Frost won't be upgraded in the rookie draft. What he will get though is what is known as the "nominated rookie" spot, which is where a club can nominate one of its rookies (if they have 39 players on the primary list) or two of its rookies (if they have 38 on the primary list) to play senior football without the need for a Long Term Injury to open up a spot.

We have the 39 senior list players setup, so assuming we don't pull a surprise and utilize pick 3 in the Pre-Season Draft, we will be able to select up to 5 rookies (picks 8 and 26, with pick 43 likely to be thrown away on Armstrong, plus Frost and Gault already retained).

I think pick 60 might actually be utilized to officially bring Mason Cox onto the list as a Category B rookie...

So, what rookie pick do we use on Cam Conlon?

Does he even play Footy Anymore

He does.

Played 1 game for the Knights in this year's TAC Cup.

Think I might have read somewhere a while back that he was going to play for the Northern Blues in 2015 if he didn't get picked up this year...

Very Happy the fact that stui keeps bringing up Cam's name ... must be worth a try!

Yes how about drafting Conlon Bucks?

Correct. I understand there was some dispute with the knights over how to manage his rehab so they parted ways and he signed with the Bloos.

Talent and attitude are there, could be a nice low pick and be prepared take a bit of time.

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

I know he kicked some goals in the Sanfl. But he has already played VFL with us & I just don't see him as being AFL worthy.

Post subject: Jake Williams stuff upReply with quote

I have heard we were ready to draft Jake Williams as a rookie but we forgot to have his player reg number ready at the call out. Pretty big stuff up and a huge disappointment for Jake. At least he will get another go on our VFL list in 2015 and have a chance to be rookied this time.
