Well the off-season is almost over and it’s time to get excited about the season ahead. The NAB Cup is the perfect introduction to the year, with the new recruits on show and hopefully taking their chances to cement a spot in the team.
With the format of Round 1 of the NAB Cup being a round-robin format and the Mighty Pies playing in the second and third games it was decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to have our AGM prior to our games commencing.
So please come along early on the Friday night and get involve in YOUR supporters group. The AGM is a great opportunity for members to get involved and to have your say in how you want the group run, and how to expand and promote this fan-tastic group. As well as electing people for the many roles it takes in keeping the group running we wiil also be discussing items such as “Player Sponsorship”
This year provides us with a tremendous opportunity to sponsor a “local” with 3 of our new recruits hailing from South Australia. Whilst Brodie Grundy seems to be a favorite at the moment there is the chance to come along and vote for who you deem worthy of the support of the SA Magpies.
