We begin with Didak,C.Cloke,,Lonie and Brodie on the pine bench.
Richards starts off in the ruck as Josh was a late withdrawal today.
Its all port in the opening minutes as we struggle to get past the centre.
E Mcguire has a crack at the umpires as port score a point.
Our first fwd sortie results in a soft as treacle free to jason Cloke and he goals.He seemed to get it for misjudging the mark.
MCG is resuming as he left off last week and is in and under everything early.
Cole is pinged for a high tackle and port goal.
We go backwards,sideways,and back again until port get dizzy watching it.i get dizzy too.
Rocca gets a soft as treacle free and we get our second goal.
From the clearance MCG bombs to CHF,Maddee Lokan drops a sitter,kingy roves the pack and snaps a goal from 40 out.
Cheesy then sinks a long left foot shot from 50 on the run for a goal,Cole has a run and misses his shot,then we go back to our old ways and 5 or 6 times we go fwd but nobody in the front line and easily cleared by port each time

We get the first goal of the term when Cloke isnt paid what was probably good enough to be a mark,Lokan roves the pack and snaps truly.
the rest of the qtr is all port attacking and us almost attacking.
i know MM is a fan of history and war.
I at times think he may be has devised our fwd set up on the italian army in the second world war.
no one on the front line,and most moves in reverse.
Lokan marks at 50 but will not have a shot for some reason,passes to MCg who is lucky toget a free but he misses his set shot.

Brodie then battles his guts out,breaks free and snaps truly,followed by a long shot from Didak that also hits the target.
Port goal soon after and then we are down to 19 men as cam Cloke is knocked out by prestis shoulder.
Brodie has a long shot which is touched on the line,port goal again.
We seem to have more players down fwd now when we attack,Leon gets on the end of some scramble and goals on the line.Didak and Brodie miss easy shots and then woey works as an escort as he follows burgoyne 100 mtrs down field and watches him goal.
Ant marks 40 out..siren..OOF...bugger.

I had hoped that at 3/4 time MM would have sent BK to KFC to organise the feed for after the game instead of inflicting him on us for another qtr.
Surely its plain to anyone that hes a willy player at best.

We got 4 of our goals from soft free kicks and 4 on the run from 50 when no one was home if they hadnt gone thru.
With a fwd set up like this i cant see us ever kicking a score to worry most sides if they kick straight.themselves.
In fact if it wasnt for jimmy clement we may have lost by 10 goals this week.
For us Clement BOG by far,good games by lonie,cheesy and lika.
but the amount of turnovers by blokes like cole and woey is way too high.
