Tough one here. Sam Dwyer was starved of AFL opportunity due to many young-ins going ahead of him. Always reliable when called upon though. Dwyer played his role in both the AFL side but more particularly the VFL side where he led all Collingwood players in last nights count of the JJ Liston Trophy.
Where to now for Sammy Dwyer? I still think he has a role to play at the club. Can't see him being delisted. He is very good depth and I think the Pies will do their best to hold onto him. If still at the club in 2016, like this year he will most likely spend the majority of his time in the VFL side but when called upon & needed, he'll never let us down at AFL level. Good, experienced player. We would do well to hold onto Sammy for at least another season.
