Player Profile: by Johnson#26

Drafted at pick number three at the National Draft, Didak was a player who wet all Magpie supporters appetites at the sight of him swinging on to his famous left boot. After scoring a goal with his first kick, Didak showed class in his first season after being used mainly as a half forward flanker.
2002 was the year Didak really stepped up. With his classy left boot, Didak spent most of 2002 as a forward, with his highlight being the round 19 clash with Hawthorn, when he scored five goals in a best on ground display. Didak was also good in the finals, showing poise beyond his years.
2003 started off in a blaze of glory for Didak, when he dominated the Wizard Cup competition. But come the beginning of the real season, Didak was kept quiet, with his influence quelled. But in the Qualifying Final of 2003, Didak, after spending most of the night on the pine, grabbed his chance in the last five minutes of the match, scoring two pearlers to seal the game for the Pies.
Inconsistency marred an other wise successful 2004 for Didak, he was brilliant in some games and nowhere to be seen in others, with his best game coming against the Kangaroos in round 10.
