Just got back from Preston with the sad news that Heath has gone down with a knee injury. It happened early in the last quarter, on first glance it looked serious enough to require a full reconstruction BUT after the match we entered the rooms and were told that he will require an operation but it only looks to be 6-8 weeks!

So it's not all doom and gloom Very Happy

Hopefully Scotland will bounce back from this set back and come out firing in the second half of the year.

Any other potential stars you can shed some light on for us??

yeah i nearly spewed when i saw scotland go down!

he was the best player on the ground up until then. freeborn also played pretty well. cole was solid without being too flashy. kinnear did nothing. cam cloke looked alright in the ruck against matthew allan, but didn't get much of the ball around the ground.

willi won by about 10 goals. good team performance.

Heath is fine by all accounts. spoke to a close friend he only jarred the knee, so not as bad as it looked.

Yes I was there and it did look bad @ the first glance but I left before the game finished because of the way I was parked!

My question is what was he doing playing reserves? What about Mcgough aswell he should be @ Willi before Scotto any day! Anyways the damage is done now and we will have to go on without him He Kicked 5 or 6 goals to and was playing real well! Colie will be in the seniors this week!

Go The Pies!

Dan

Go THe Richo!

UNLEASH THVL TURBO!

Cole was pretty average, but he rolled his ankle and was limping quite noticably after the match anyway. None of our boys really stood out, Freeborn was his usual solid self. Unfortunately, Kinnear was absolutely insipid, getting carved up by Luke Livingston. Cam Cloke got a few hit outs, but struggled around the ground.

So frustrating that Scoots went down, he was really in blistering form and would have no doubt broken back into the side next week. At least it's not as bad as it first looked...

Fun in the rooms, hey MAGPIRA? Some good sights...Wink

I was very impressed with Heath and Cameron. Also, Josh Mahoney (ex-Collingwood, Bulldogs) starred. And there was a No. 23 who looked pretty good, but he wasn't listed in the record so i don't know who he is. Bo Nixon did some nice things too.

Kristin, #23 is Jeremy Dukes. FYI, his personal stats are: Born 24/04/82, 194 cms, 92 kgs, and although he was on Williamstown's list last season, his previous clubs were Essendon and Carlton.

Thanks for that Dale. He wasn't too bad - certainly looked very enthusiastic!
