A few of the people here have entered a private league that we having running at http://afl.virtualsports.com.au
If you want to play you can still join. Our private league comp starts this friday night. At the moment we only have 6 players so it would be nice if we could have 16 teams in it so we don't play random players.
If you join our private league you will be entered in the main competition be given the average score from this round.
Our League name is Nick's BB and our League code is 714378

And I'd like to wish everyone the best of luck trying to access this site once all the teams for each week have been named.
On Friday, I tried for just over 5 hours to get my team in for the weekly part of this competition, only to be greeted with 'This web page is temporarily unavailable'. So much for fairness. This now leaves me with only the slightest chance of winning 'The Big One' as I am now one weeks worth of points behind the 8 ball.
Then again, what would you expect from an AFL competition sponsored by Telstra and Yellow Pages!

I couldnt get thru on friday and subsequently had to settle playing 2 players short. The 2 players I wanted to put on the field played well too. Doh. Oh well, I'm ranked 1329 at the moment which isnt bad considering there are over 20k players.

I only had 13 scoring players as their website was down and i couldnt update my team prior to the round starting. I had about 500 points sitting on the bench. I had no emergencies selected either

Well I had Jon Hay who scored -1.....what a great effort.
Not happy Jan!!!!!!!
By the way folks there are still 5 spots vacant in our league of Nicks people so feel free to join. The comp kicks off Friday night.
