Lokan ...great start to AFL career....

Great first up effort in the real thing for Lokan ....he's not shy on pace and loves to run through the lines.....He will send the Pies into attack many, many times this year.....As much as I hate to say it he reminds of that scumbag shin-boner "King"...not pettyy to look at but quite effective..and ;oves to tune it hard straight lines...

Drew, Not so much King, but if you were lucky enough to see Collingwood in the 70's, Lokan looks, runs, attacks, just like the "Manassa Mauler"- the great Phil Manassa. He would always run hard through the lines, taking on the opposition with a few bounces. That example now of course immortalised by that famous run during 77 GF no less!
Watching him during the Wiz and rd 1 the simalarities were uncanny.

I'm with you Chalky . The way he pulls his neck in and bounces through the lines is very "Manassa ish" & he fights for the ball in the packs like Scotty Burns - All this for draft pick 70 .

Lokan did really well for his first game... But I still think that he is lacking a little bit of that quick decision footy brain... He seems to have a habit of running backwards a lot.

But then again if he can play like he did friday... Who knows...

Lokan was fantastic and helped set up a great goal, after he showed some dash from half back and through thr centre. Keep it up Lokan!
