I know this has been played to death, Nick Davis is a trader, blah blah... But unfortunatley he proved why we really didn't want to get rid of him. 8 posessions, 3 goals 2 behinds.

This just gives us more reason to show him why he shouldn't of left...[/b]

It makes a difference when you really want to play for the club.

Well said Assassin, JLC and ROCCA. This topic is old. At the end of the day, no matter how good a player he is, he doesnt wanna play for Collingwood so therefore he is no good to us.

I prefer Sensational Seven!

Bucks, Woey, Lica, Burnsie, Tarks, OB and MCG!

who? Don't we have someone that wears the number 19 Guernsey? Andrew Williams isn't it? Hasn't he ALWAYS had that number?

(sarcasm isn't my strong point....lol)

Yes we have a very good midfield now. I notice Willo also did well. It's scary though that Davis can do so well after very little preparation. Anyway we play that crap side this week and we will cream them.

Culprit I think you have a selective memory. Who kicked the winning goal in the preliminary final? Who got it out to Didak to put the icing on the cake? Who snapped a goal in the second quarter when we were up against it? Who kicked the two goals in the last quarter against the Saints when we were struggling, and the win secured our top four berth?

I get bored with this topic and I always sound like I am defending Nick, but I think people here get too mean-spirited.

Willo is a great pick-up but I doubt if he will ever have the match-winning flair or star quality of a Davis.

You say it is easy to stand out in a poor team. Isn't it easier to play well in a great team. Willo struggled at times with the battling Eagles. You tend not to be as marked a man when you are surrounded by great players.

And I don't think our opposition was that great. We should not judge on single performances. I hope if we ever take a turn for the bad again, please not, people here don't turn on the blokes they have been praising like they have in the past. Rolling Eyes
