I know its only one game into the season but I have to say that jonno's kicking was on the money. Last year he copped a hiding from a few of us regarding his lack of skill when kicking and how he couldn't hit a target. Friday night he didn't miss a target at all.

Normally this wouldn't need to be said but after the caning he copped last year I thought it should be mentioned.

Good call, Blanch. I'm a fan of Benny's anyway, but I agree that he played well on Friday night and was hitting targets.

i think its more the way that he kicks it, not as much where it goes, is wat attracts attention to his kicking.

Only problem is, he is way too one-sided for my liking. Other than that his kicking wasn't too bad the other night.

All i ever hear at footy is people bagging Johnno! Lol i always yell at people for it! Also when people say stuff about Jarrod but thats a diff story! I think Johnno is playing great and sure he had missed a lot of targets but he is a great player for us and is always doing his bit to help his team!

And you could NEVER accuse Johnno of doing nothing . I just love the way he goes about his footy - anyone who tries as hard as Johnno has to be a fantastic role model at the club.

I would say dids is one sided too, but we dont' criticise him for that because he still kicks goals (which in backmen's terms means hitting targets).

I think Johno is a great back pocket player all round but it has been his kicking that has let him down in previous years. he had a game against the tiges where he didn't miss one target - from the left or right foot does it really matter? he hit the target didn't he?
