This is another new facility that came with this software. I had the option of disabling it, the same as I disabled the highlighting of moderators, but I believe that it is an important right for people to be able to choose to use the Bulletin Board privately.

There are other issues such as stalking that the hidden user facility helps to address as well.

For anyone unfamiliar with this facility, it can be enabled in your profile. It doesn't matter if people laugh or sling off at you for using it .... because no-one knows who you are - simple really.
