I like the idea.....that is even though I called him a smart arse...then I read some of the replies and thought.."who cares he's a smart arse, as long as he can play". If he is a smart arse in a Collingwood guernsey, then that can only be good for us.
BUT..I have one question....why the #$%* would he leave Norff, particularly after the good season he has just had. I can't see why he would leave and why Norff would let him go.
All of these rumours are pissing me off....I can tell you one thing....and this is the only rumour that is true...some players will leave Collingwood and some other players will join Collingwood. Remember where you heard it first !!!!!!!

Heard the same thing (about David King) from a relative of another kangaroo. In fact, this persons brother wished he was headed our way too.
Also heard that Dean Laidley has been in Queensland this week - wonder who we would want from up there? |

It sounds like the rumour has some sort of "grounding", good if it is true. |

it has grounding but can anyone see the logic in this?? like from norths point of view?? hey no one is saying anything about RUPERT BETHERAS, does anyone know whats going on with him??? has he signed a new contract yet?? (or am i just a bit behind in the news) anyway they better not trade him!! |

I hope it is true. I've said it once, I'll say it again, he's GOOD.
But I do not think it will come true. I have only been passing on the rumour to North Sydney supporters, just to see their faces crumble. |

Cq : Bradshaw would be good as long as he got his priorities in order, Collingwood and Football first and the birth of his children second.
Also King would be great in Black and White(obviously it would depend on who it was for though). |

Spoke to someone who works inside the club at Orangeland: he's convinced the King will be traded, as the Juicemen believe that he's more off-field trouble than he's worth for the value they get on-field.
I think they're underrating his on-field value. |

exactly what i was gettin at Broadie - King seems more trouble off the field however he is a good player ---> the only one who pulled his finger out of his ass when they got flogged by Essendon a few weeks back!
