Some interesting info

I was looking at Nick's old websites, and came across some interesting info:

The Draft:
Collingwood in the AFL draft picked up 8 players, the second highest number of players behind Melbourne with 9 The names of the players are Brent Tuckey (Ballarat Rebels), Marty Warry (Fitzroy), Brad Cassidy (Fitzroy), Marcus Barham (Calder Cannons), Josh Mahoney (Williamstown), Brad Fuller (Southern Districts ACT), Dwayne Griffen (Swan Districts) and Leigh Singline (South Launceston).

Out of these players only 1 remains on the current list. Most of them sound like hacks. Now we wonder why we were so bad, and only now begin the process into becoming a better side. We had bad recruiters.

this was the last draft before noel judkins arrived at the club. there is some really good data/information on the www.buckleysurfers.com site in regards to our recent trading and draft history over the past three years. it is in a letter by the wall directly to noel judkins. very interesting reading. mm wont let it happen again though...
