What a Loser!
I remember when he was the coach of the crows, that the crows were last in the tackling stats...and cornes explanation was that tackling wasn't important as that meant you were not the first to the ball.
But in my eyes you can't be first to the ball everytime, so tackleing is a very important part of our great game. |

| On 7 News tonight(Adelaide) the profound one gave his views on the top 4 - his verdict on Collingwood? "They overachieved last season, and will really struggle to keep up in 2003". Must still be sooky about the qualifying final or would prefer not to meet us again. |

Note also that there are 5 non-Victorian teams in his 8. And none of the recognised "big 4", Colllingwood, Essendon, Carlton or Richmond.
He is just being a smart-arse. Just showing off how anti-Victorian he can be. He's a professional hater of all things Victorian, just like K.G. Cunningham.
In fact, Cornes and K.G. used to have a radio show together. Not sure if they still do it ... but it was just an endless barrage of pro-South Australian, anti-Victorian bile.
It must have broken his heart when his sons got picked up by Port Adelaide ... Prior to that he hated Port Adelaide even MORE than he hated Victorians.
I guess ... to someone as twisted as Graham Cornes ... Collingwood must be like Port Adelaide and Victoria all rolled into one.

| That is quite possibly the worst top 8 prediction i have seen so far this year. Half of those teams won't make the final 8. What a wanker, i'm surprised he didn't put sydney in the top 8. |

Tackling is highly overrated - definitely not important.
Just take a look at the Grand Final last year!

Surely they are more of a finals outfit than Collingwood...!
