Post subject: Which old time collingwood great ? | |
|
We have interviewed eddie and we are in the process of doing bucks without a doubt two of the biggest names in football today.
Im teasing myself over 2 names which are Bob Rose with whom i consider to be Mr collingwood ( to sit with bob and talk collingwood would be a dream come true and Peter Daicos the macedonian marvel who is undoubtedly one of the modern time greats.
Who do you reckon would be an interesting interview and why ?
Pleae select any player it doesnt have to be the above two gentleman. _________________ Collingwood today, Collingwood tomorrow,Collingwood forever... we'll always do things the collingwood way... side by side we stick together to uphold the greatest name in football.

P.P.S. I will bid and donate the money to the club if I can be at the Daicos interview (if he is the player of choice). |

Or Banksy? He'd be pretty cool and I reckon he'd have a few interesting stories to tell. |

I'd like a Daicos interview....I would like to see if he is still bitter at the club due to the way the management/coaching staff ended his career when he clearly thought he had one good year left....
PLUS HE IS A CHAMPION and gave me some of the greatest football memories EVER!!!! _________________ THE PIES GO MARCHING ON

Ed, pretty sure Neil Mann is still alive, remember seeing a press article about him last GF week.
Bob Rose would be a very interesting choice, but then again so would any of the ex players others have mentioned.
Having said all that, I'd still have to reckon Rene Kink would be great value! |

Kevin Worthington is my boyhood favorite player and I'd love to hear from him now.
Also, at the risk of starting something here, Tony Shaw. He is not the most popular Collingwood person with some supporters but he bled black and white for his whole life and has played with and coached some of the modern day greats as well as being the brother of a former captain who he would have watched play with some of the 70's greats. I'd love to know the truth behind the fight with Mathews rumors and get his take on being Collingwood. I'd also love the club to offer the Olive Branch. It's time to bring back an out and out legend of Collingwood before we finally win our first flag since he was skipper and as we contemplate drafting his son. |
