Interesting so if I say our teams performance on Saturday night was pathetic and had a go at a few players that virtually did nothing I am a bandwagger?

I would say I am a passionate supporter who hates losing to certain clubs.

I take note of what other supporters are like, StKilda cheer their team when they lose. Hence losing is accepted by that club. Losing should be taken in grace by what you achieve not in the fact that you lost.

Their is respect in loss, but no one ever remembers who comes second that's reality.

Geez! I'm not sure what any of this discussion has to do with NP's original post but I would have tought that if "bandwagoners" (and isn't that a stupid term) want to come to Collingwood games and pay their money at the turnstile and subsequently find they enjoy the game and watching the 'Pies decide to join the Club and pay their membership fees and go on to become life-long supporters who then raise their offspring to be life-lone supporters. STOP - we can't have "bandwagonners" in our club OR is it that, apart from those born into the throng, isn't it how we all (or our ancestors anyway) became Collingwood supporters in the first place.

Nice try Northern Pie, but some will allways complain about "bandwagoners" and what they see as que-jumping for the big matches. The Club is constantly seeking new members and when they get new members they are labeled as "bandwagoners", how long does one have to be a member before that tag drops off? I 1st joined as a member in '99 but have supported Collingwood all my life am I a "bandwagoner"?. Alot of people complain about loosing seats to "bandwagoners" but what if you could only afford to go to one or two games a year? are you going to see pies v dogs or pies v stkilda or are you going to want to see pies v essenscum or pies v filth? not every one has the disposable income to spend on week in week out football tickets, I for instance find it a strugle to come up with membership money every year, and if I could have only afforded it this year you'd label me a "bandwagoner", sure people are atracted by the recent sucsess of the club but these same people have taken just as much crap over the years for being a Collingwood supporter as the rest of us.
the term "bandwagoners" should only ever be used to describe bitchmond supporters not our Brothers, Sisters, nieces and nephews, we are all Collingwood!
