Seeing how important McStay is to our fwd 50. Ash isn’t that player. Completely different type of fwd and frankly not up to it yet.
Long way to go in this one. Can’t kick for goal much worse and fwds will click at some point.
GWS set themselves for this game. Weather that and punish them in the second half.

Wow. Flat doesn't even come close to describing what's going on out there. Cox can't mark the ball again. The backline looks really weak without Howe and Murphy. Johnson looks likely but never delivers. And there is no connection going forward. Lachie Schulz looks very poor so far.
Worst of all the Giants are direct and fast. We have reverted to slow as treacle ball movement.
A big lift after half-time is needed, or we will find ourselves behind our main rivals. This is an 8 point game. |
