| Post subject: Hows YOUR pre season warm up going, fired up now ?? |  |

Yeh im pretty fired up. My pre season warm up, consists of watching one quarter per night, of all our Finals matches, one a night. Just watched the Deeees final , the sore losers Final, the May sore loser Cup. By jeez, Sidey played one hell of a match that night. Next the Giants, starting tonight, finish off with the GF Big Dance. I might squeeze in that amazing Anzac day match too, six goals down and won, Im not over confident, but if we make top 4, look out, anything is possible with this team an this brilliant Coach Fly. ! I also expect huge seasons from Ash Johnno and Lochy Shultz, thats my take.

I'm excited for the season ahead, but haven't been following pre-season or training reports all that much over the summer.
I've just wanted to bask in the glory that was 2023, and soak in the feeling of being reigning premiers before we turn our attention to 2024.

But seriously, very keen to see the boys at Giants stadium, although I don't agree with the concept of Round Zero

We got ourselves thinking we're the best thing since sliced bread!
But not one ball has been bounced.
Let's wait and see how we go against GWS who are a very good team.
If we win by 1 or 2 points, I'll say YEP we're the same magpies heading for the next premiership.
However, let's not forget 2011 and this time we have Fly to get us over the line.

Slowly moving into gear, match sim down and warm up's coming. Starting to practice some chants and some rants, here goes.
But let me tell you one thing. I am not buying into any of this premiership defense talk. We are not defending the premiership. There are no results in 2023 that count in the 2024 ladder. There are no actions in the 2024 season that can change the results in 2023. There is nothing anyone can do, the Pies are and always will be the 2023 Premiers!

Same as for myself its 2024 not 2023.
remember we lived in 1990 for more then a decade.
2024 is whole new season
We go again.
Everyone starts at 0 points and everyone is now currently 0 points from the Adl crows right through to west coast if you take an a-z approach.
2023 winning the cup is good but win it again in 2024 is the key. |

1990 was followed by a decade of us slapping ourselves on the back
2010 was followed by off field shit and 2011
2023 has been fantastic looking forward to 2024
A great victory can turn bad quickly so enjoy everyone

exactly 1990 we were still congratulating ourselves even in 1999 when we took out the spoon amazing number of year that this went on and on.
2010 was the one that could be better dealt with.
Ed fixation of Bucks was the start of the rot for us, and all Ed wanted to do was turf Malthouse out for some strange reason.
2023 into 2024 has a whole new feeling now.
I'm confident it's the start of a whole new beginning as a club.
And got a real future vision type feel and looking ahead.
We have a vision now. |

yeh, my first reaction to his utterly childish outburst was who the heck is thi sbastard ?? OK he hates us for beating em by one point, does the turd recall the year before WE lost a PF by one lousy point and lost a PF to his mob in 2019 by two points ????? Yet, we never whinged. or complained. Maybe this flog and that sore loser May should be golf buddies, two total losers. This will only fire us up for GWS now, Fly will use this now.
