Yehhh...nahhh...don't like it if their intention is to keep it there indefinitely. Each to their own though.
In saying that I think we're done with the thread. Would be good if the club put out an explanation of what it represents exactly, their reasoning as to why it's there, how long it will stay for.

So what the hell is it and what does it mean?
Don't think it looks like anything associated with gays.

It's beyond me why any mature adult of sane disposition would find it offensive that the club wants to signal it welcomes diversity. Obviously, a message of inclusivity is needed because many people and minorities are often excluded. If reality were otherwise, the message wouldn't be necessary. And not only is it a necessary message, it's an extremely positive message.
I suggest those with a problem go and ask the President, the CEO, the coach, the captain, the leadership group and the players what they think. Go on: go and make that complaint to Fly or Darcy or Pendles or Bruzzy or Crispy or Sidey and see what they say.
Of course, the coach and players know that proactive inclusivity is needed, and perhaps even more so in sport than other domains, because they live in the real world, not in an imaginary internet world on a laptop in mum and dad's basement.
Some of the arguments put forward in this thread are ridiculously close to those coming out of fascist Russia, whose Supreme Court has just banned overt, public LGBT support. This is probably not the company you want to be keeping:

Yep, top post there pietillidie, a disturbing amount of pro Russian hysteria on here...always good to be reminded that Collingwood is the broadest of broad churches.

They are the colours used in the progress pride flag which represents the gay, trans and people of colour communities.

That's in your heads, though. You and the annoying culture war progressives who inhabit your nightmares can go fight it out on Twitter. None of that is the club's problem. The club's responsibility is to be inclusive of all of players and fans, and to make everyone feel welcome, as the president, CEO, coach, captain and senior leaders of the team have clearly and consistently expressed.
If you're unhappy with their performance, and think you know better, as I say, take it up with them, even if no one has seen fit to appoint you to decide who the club should make feel welcome, or to decide who its publics, stakeholders and constituents should be, or what its message to those people should be. Do you even have any management or comms experience?
In fact, we all know you wouldn't have the guts to confront Jeff Browne, Christine Holgate, Cement Truck, Fly, Darcy, Pendles or Crispy and tell them that they're not really being inclusive, but are rather peddling some lunatic progressive war and should stop right now.
They would rightly laugh you out of the room because you're being ridiculous, tarring them with nonsense concocted by lowlifes like Putin and Trump, who would have their cults believe that being inclusive is somehow just the same as being a rioting, looting society wrecker who glues himself to things in protest as he seeks to instigate general anarchy.
Just how many mature leaders of serious, mainstream organisations this side of rural small-town Evangelical America would hold your views on the use of inclusive colours? Do you think any modern sports coach takes affront at the communication of inclusivIty? Go and level your accusations at Fly and school him in your culture wars and see how he reacts. Tell him how the team would be improved if only he stopped being so inclusive and mindful of difference. Go and school him
