Post subject: Our best 5 players across the finals series
|
While Bobby Hill was the deserved and undisputed winner of the Norm Smith, I'd be interested who people think were our best 5 players of the whole finals campaign.
To my mind they were:
1. JDG
2. Pendles
3. Sidey
4. Crisp
5. Cox
I'm only leaving out Nick Daicos because he missed our first final.
It's amazing that these - apart from JDG I guess - are all our old brigade. It is a warning that we need to find some young A grade players to replace them quick smart. |

1. Crisp
2. Hill
3. Sidebottom
4. Mitchell
5. De Goey
Thought Crisp was the most consistent across all three games.
Hill was outstanding in the QF and GF, but quiet in the PF. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023
