The commentators seemed pretty confident that Nick Daicos had no case to answer for the tackle on Brent Daniels. But on replay I have to say it looked very similar to a lot of tackles that have resulted in suspensions this year. The saving grace seems to be that Pendlebury was tackling at the same time and substantially contributed to Daniels’ head hitting the ground.
Anyway, even though there’s surely no chance he gets suspended at the end of it all, I really hope he doesn’t get dragged through any tribunal distractions this coming week.

Nah, nothing in it. However if they want to play the arseholes game, Collingwood will challenge the suspension in the Supreme Court and adjourn it until after the GF, like Barry Hall and the Swans did a few years ago.

Should be OK. Bobby Hill's tackle looked worse. Not sure if the GWS player's head hit the ground.

It was a fine line, but no. Arm was around his waist and some momentum made it look worse than it actually was. Player wasn’t injured either. We’re not suspending fair players from GFs for that.
