We all know Collingwood gets no love when it comes to AFL recognition.
Snubbed by the team of the century selectors and with many worthy recipients neglected by the AFL hall of fame selectors.
We can't get Gordon Coventry a statue at the MCG despite holding the goal kicking record for 60odd years and we haven't got a McHale statue there despite his record as a player and more importantly as a coach.

I think it's time we immortalise our own greats. It's time to add to the Rose and Richards statues. To celebrate the Collingwood champions.
But who would be first? Who then?

Which Collingwood champions do you think should be next in line for a statue at Olympic Park?

A John Greening statue would make me estatic. Lest we forget what that St
kilda thug Jim O’Dea did to him 😪☹️ And no I won’t forget it and move on.

Nor should you.

I am more inclined to think G Coventry, McHale or Regan though.

Craig McCrae or Graham Wright.

Might as well begin making the statues now 😁

On that note, a statue of Blair holding the Premiership cup aloft while wearing the One ring.
