Agree there inxs88

Time to manage.

Start to in futrate some of the VFL into the AFL.

And time to rotate again besides it does freshen up the team as well.

As long as we keep clicking along with the win and all the while rotating around and managing players is a bonus in which i think we are well and truely in that positionto do so.

We now have that luxury not many teams has.

I hope most of those on their injury list play. I want the scum to have a very strong team so that they haven’t got any excuses when they lose 🙄

Nah, F that. Need to bank at least two more wins, and manage some battered bodies. Nothing much more to prove now. I personally hope they wheel out their reserves squad. Human nature dictates our players will soon enter self preservation mode.

Agreed, RH. We have Brisbane at the Dump and Geelong to test ourselves and keep the saw sharpened against. Essendon shouldn't pose too much of a challenge but they will be mid-table and usually have a score to settle with us.

Any chance to make banking those points easier, I'll take. And yeah, that includes rotating some of our players. If Titch is carrying a back, you get him off the field before it spreads to his groin or legs.

Furthermore, I'd love to give Finn another taste of it. He's been brilliant for us in the VFL and we need to reward that or he will go looking elsewhere. Besides, it's the right thing to do. He's been bashing on the door for months

A Total Furphy, most of em will play, heck, even if some had amputated legs, they would still be picked to play against us. Surprised Shocked

Agree. NO mercy, I want us to smash these pretenders by 8 goals at least, put them right back in their box. Razz

Not sure there are many who rate Carlton. That’ll be keen to alter that perception but my gut says we will give somewhat of reality check to them. Problem is when I get confident we generally lose so we’re no chance!

No changes to the side. Have to find a way for Markov to be in the 22. Plays a great role and provides so much run..

Thinking Cox out, Markov into the 22 and Frampton in as sub makes most sense – Billy can play pretty much anywhere, after all, and would be handy if we had a tall defender, ruck or forward injured.

I don't have us making any changes this week. Markov stay as sub. Frampton, WHE (if fit, if not Macrae/Ginnivan), and Johnson emergencies.

Hill/Cox, and even Howe need to perform this week or they may lose their spot.

If Mitchell does have a back problem, rest him until he is fit. Bring in Markov and WHE can be the sub.

For what it's worth...

* Out Mitchell (injured- allow him a full two weeks to get cherry ripe)
* In: Macrae (stellar form in VFL and clearly deserves an opportunity)

* Out: Cox (likely to be wet and somewhat slippery Friday night)
* IN: Frampton (was excellent in the VFL and is best 23- gives us cover for defensive tall and 2nd ruck)

Retain Markov as a sub- will need pace and run after half time...

Looking forward to the Hawks game:

Out : Howe- (managed)
In: Markov

Out: Lipinski (managed)
In: Johnson

Sub: ???

Hoskin - Elliot available. The plot thickens. We will find out just how much the club rates his output this week.

Macrae will require surgery on his thumb, out 3-4 weeks

I think we sign the doctor for 7 years. 2 weeks for a broken hand!
