The Nick's Magpie Mail 2003 Footy Tipping Competition is now open.

I have no idea what the prizes will be, but then I didn't this time last year either and we ended up with great prizes. All prize donations gratefully accepted.

Once again the competition will be open to all, but only Magpie Mail members will be eligible for prizes. Make sure you use your Magpie Mail address as your email address in the sign-up form so that we can recognise you.

Question for you - if I was part of the magpie tipping last year am I able to tip again using the same username and password. (I've tried getting in) Or do we need to pay another $10 to join?

M42, the competition is open to everyone for free, there is no joining fee - but I do know what you mean. You have to be a current member of Magpie Mail to be eligible for prizes regardless of when you joined... but you must be current.

And you have to re-register in the comp, we have not carried over your old usernames and passwords.

This will be the ONLY Footy Tipping Competition on Nick's unless someone else decided to make one. I will NOT be running a seperate competition!

So, why not join up to this one. If you want to be eligible for the prizes, join Magpie Mail, if you just want to be in it for the fun, join anyway.

Magpie Mail is unstuffable... so what have you done to it?

well it wont let me sign in, and it wont tell me my password when i go to ( lost password)

Your Magpie Mail account is a redirect account. That means that it forwards any email to your isp email address. I think you're trying to log into Magmail which is webmail and you don't have a Magmail account - that's why you can't get in.

When you request your password it is emailed to your isp email address, so check that.

You can still sign up for Footy Tipping. Just use your Magpie Mail email address, I know you've got one.
