Happy for Poulter - seemed like good kid but just maybe not the right prospect at the right time. Drafted in covid, and managed 11 games in that pox of a season in 2021.

Always thought he was homesick for SA but obviously has stuck around and will get another go. Good luck.

I'll watch out for Caleb Poulter next time I watch Bulldogs, along with Treloar.

Yeah, there was some speculation Hawthorn would take Brown with their second pick, but they ended up opting for Brandon Ryan instead.

Perhaps if Cal keeps up his apparently excellent form for Box Hill, he'll get another chance down the track – not that his ability to perform at VFL level was ever in question. In his favour, though, he's only just turned 25, so may not have hit his peak yet.

Thought he was decent throughout 2021, but just fell out of favour last year.

Lachie Keeffe finally gets his 100th AFL game in Hobart on Sunday. It’s been a long road for him – he’s been in the system since all the way back in 2009 (although he was originally signed by Collingwood at the beginning of 2008), and has only played close to a full season twice: for us in 2014 just before the drug ban, and for GWS last year; in each year he played 18 games.

In the meantime, Caleb Poulter’s been named as an emergency for the Bulldogs, so may be a chance to make his debut for them as sub.
