Larry takes the lead with 16 Shocked

6 months in a place certainly qualifies, as does different houses in the same suburb.

^I'm likely to double Larry's total! When I get time I'll count.

great topic. I have lived, and worked in 5 states of Oz, and I have lived at 41 different addresses over the time. Suffice to say, I hate moving. I am also amazed that at my age, I can remember them all!

got me thinking this one. We've lived here in Greenwood for around 30 years.

From the beginning;

Mt Hawthorn
Bassendean
East Kambalda
Bassendean
Maylands
Osborne Park (1st home bought, ex wife still lives there)
Bassendean
Mt Hawthorn
Henley Brook
Greenwood

I've 'lived' in multiple mining camps as well; Barrow Island, Newman, Jiggalong, Karratha, Port Hedland, Meekatharra, DeGrussa, Marble Bar, Mt Webber, Roy Hill, Nova, Argyle, Kunnunurra, Geraldton.

Here’s my timeline (my number is ten in total):

1988–2008, 2008–2009: Gilmore, Canberra (the house where I grew up and where my parents and three youngest siblings still live)
2008: Gowrie, Canberra (lived with my first girlfriend and her mum for about nine months – not sure if it fully qualifies as I was still "officially" living at home, but I did move most of my stuff over and slept there every night)
2009–2010: Brighton East (first sharehouse, lived there for almost exactly 12 months)
2010: St Kilda (lived in a shoebox-sized room in student accommodation for around two months)
2010–2012: Brunswick West (sharehouse with two friends from Canberra; Lola started living with me for the first time here)
2012–2013: Brunswick (first place I lived just with Lola, plus two cats we were house-sitting while the owner was away – we were here around twelve months)
2013–2014: West Melbourne (factory conversion around the corner from North Melbourne station; sharehouse with revolving door of housemates)
2014–2015: Coburg (last sharehouse experience, with my partner and another mum and her kid – this is where we were when Ingmar was born)
2015–2021: Hampton (only place that ever felt like home, really, apart from the house where I grew up! Would have stayed forever but the owner decided to demolish the house.)
2021–present: Hampton East (have been here around 18 months now – another old house in dubious condition. Won’t be surprised if it too gets bulldozed soon and we have to move again!)

Mate, that is an epic effort, but I think we need a list here, not just a random number to be acknowledged as outright leader.

This thread is a great idea – it's funny how merely listing where we've lived sketches out our life paths in many ways. It sounds like you've done it all, Philthy!
