Just for clarity, Markov was traded to GCS from Richmond, albeit for next to nothing ( future third rounder ) The Suns didn’t want to lose Markov but as we all know from the Bowes and pick 7 trade to Geelong, they were in deep salary cap trouble. Ultimately, they were forced to let him go because he was out of contract at the end of the 2022 season. We should all be thankful for the Suns cap mismanagement because their incompetence is our gain.
In a twisted way, we should also be “ thankful “ for Charlie Dean re - injuring his foot because it was only his addition onto the LTI that opened the door for Oleg to join the Pies after training at the Blues.
Just another one of those wonderful sliding doors moments associated with this premiership. |

I luv Markov and reckon his story is amazing, and one which should all be celebrated by us. However......I wonder what the reaction on Nicks might have been IF his ankle grab on Neale had led to a free kick being called back and it resulted in a Lions goal costing us a flag.
All I'm saying is it's a fine line between pleasure and pain.
For the record, the Ruskie is one of my favourite players. |

Great news. Who's still on our rookie list at this stage? Is it Carmichael, Begg, Dean and Steene? _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Yeah. Shaky game from Oleg. (Not the only one.)
e.g. also that 50m penalty that gave away a goal. |

Just admitting reality doesn't have to make folks unhappy.
Seems like a lotta folks believe their duty is to pretend everyone at the Pies is perfect in every way. Why? Imperfection can be loved too. |

Of course. His tackle on Rayner turned the game - and, in the end, proved to be the source of a 2-goal turnaround that helped secure victory. Noble (who was the selection alternative) could not have stuck that tackle. Horses for courses. On this course, Markov was an important contributor. |

Oleg had the Mo removed for Movember.
Great cause, he raised some serious money, but I hope he grows it back. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

He looked about ten years younger and much better looking without the mo.This might be sacrilegious, but I prefer him without the moustache.😀 |
