Let's put Blair at Full Back, Sidey in a back pocket and Lynden Dunn on the ball.

PS: Maynard lacks footy IQ

Gold - there is mixing it up and then there is throwing the magnets in the air and seeing where they land on the white board.

Maynard as a FF? Next you will be saying we should make Blair the captain / coach.
I'm not sure if I am ready for that yet.

IF you saw Maynard's kick last week you wouldn't be suggesting forward half.

Personally I wouldnt have Maynard in the side.

Low footy IQ. Yes. He is the "mothers do ave em" of the footy world.

I'd be playing him across half forward this week with stints in the midfield at the center square bounces.

We need to free him up for the first time in his career and see if it can build his confidence.

I don't think he'd get a game on another afl list.
we need shaz to get match fit and replace him asap
he shows no improvement as weeks roll on
I feel he'll be another waste of a pick and club resources
you can lead a horse to water

Maynard has the composure of a drunk on his 10th pot.

I don't see Maynard making it to 150 games. Any Richmond supporter would be insulted with the comparison to Dusty.
He may get dropped this week for Greenwood and if it isnt this week it will be when Sharenberg is deemed fit enough...

He has Andre the giant's drinking ability this would not be an issue.

Footage of Maynard playing forward a bit as a junior.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTTZTBVZse0

His forward work is shown pretty much after half way. What also stads out is is overhead strength throughout the clip

I think it was "Number 35" here that talked about sending Moore back and going short up forward. Maybe Maynard could be a part of that

He struggles to hit a target and I suspect would struggle to kick straight at goal. Kicking straight at goal has been the main issue up forward, not getting shots at goal.
