His tank apparently was an issue when drafted and as such may not suit a midfield role. Remember some blokes (A. Rocca bending over taking in deep breaths) have it or don't!! _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

He was the youngest kid drafted remember. He's still only 19 yrs. |

I agree, Dyso. He did it a few weeks back, as well. That raking left boot of his and his speed when hitting a pack are both elements of a work in progress, but I am really liking what I see with this kid. We forget that he is only 20, and there is a lot to like as he moves into the 50+ games bracket. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Once he develops the composure to match his endeavour, and hit his targets, then we will certainly have a player. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Was pleasantly surprised last night to see young Brayden take on the opposition a couple of times and speed away from a nippy opponent. Maybe a sign of confidence growing. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Mate I've killed for far less than people mentioning Braynard in the same sentence with Blair.
Watch your step from now on. |

when do we think he is going to start to reduce the number of clangers he makes per game.
Seriously, you all forgive him for these mistakes now because he is young and promising and so you overlook all of these flaws.
Once he becomes an established player, these clangers are the type of thing that make you a whipping boy on this site. Look at Brown and Toovey.
I bet blair wishes he was doing the hard in and under stuff he's been doing as a 19 year old. People give you a lot more credit when you are a kid!!! _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Clangers happen, all players make them, even the greats like Pendles. Watched Heath Shaw in the 1st quarter Saturday drill it onto the chest of a Freo Dockers player 20-25 metres out DIF when kicking in. It's about minimising those instances and a lot of that comes from experience. Positive thing with Maynard is he doesn't withdraw into himself when he makes them, still takes the game on and goes at 110%. |
