Marg, I still had to pay the full booking fee...

And Hurricane, apparently it says in today's paper that gates open at 4pm.

I had the same problem because I got general admission tickets yesterday. I went to the ticketmaster counter at the club and they were more than willing to swap the tickets if they could, once they called and discovered that they could do a swap they swapped my general admission tickets for some great seats on level 1.

My ticks are for G/A lvl 3, I'm not worried about that. Since I have a long drive, That's why I pre-booked just in case of a sell out. I always rock up really early, so I'm very confident of getting a seat I'm happy with, I usually do. I'll add that I thought the gates were opening at 5.30 LOL

I have today's Herald Sun in front of me. Gates open 5.30, ticket windows open 5, and pre Match entertainment is 7 - 7.25. Smile

Well I ducked into Ticketmaster today and asked if I could change my gen admission for a reserved seat and the lady had no idea what I was talking about and had to make a phone call to find out it was okay! Now have reserved seats two rows from the fence - close enough to cheer the guys on when they jog past with the Cup (I'm confident but still have everything crossed!).

I wonder how many people will turn up with gen admission tickets and expect to sit pretty much anywhere and then be sent up to the 3rd level? I would have been totally p'd off! I assume it's the AFL's doing, not Ticketmasters?

GO PIES!

Yay I finally got my tickets changed over to reserved seats.

It was a bit of a hassle getting them because I went all the way down to the club and then they told me that I had to switch them at the Ticketmaster where they were originally bought which was like an hour away.

All is not lost, I saw Bucks when I went down to Vic Park.

Stop it Cam!
Ed announced on TFS that 20,000 reserved tics have been sold. He says rule of thumb, you multiply that by a factor of 2, so 40,000.
Also made a big deal about getting in early as they expect delays at the gates.

-Craig

P.S. Also stated that the Pies have broached the 30,000 member mark. Later, Jason McCartney came on and did a membership drive for the pauperoos, they seem pleased to have now passed the 12,000 member mark!....LOL!!!
