Paul Seedsman wont play for the Crows this year due to concussion,
gives Tyler Brown a chance.

Since your usual foils aren’t here apparently, I’ll just point out that Noble played every. single. game. for the last two seasons 👍

Inconvenient facts. Noble has been a very important player for us. Cox isn’t going anywhere in a hurry just quietly (unless we get a second ruck from somewhere)

I always thought Keane had some real potential to become a long term key defender but covid and home-sickness hindered his development at the pies. The irish kids need everything going in their favour and it didn't work out for him.
I think he'll struggle to make it at senior level this year especially given he's starting pre-season training in late January!

The girlfriend probably felt like a a holiday Down Under.
He'll milk Adelaide for a few bucks and then as soon as either of them get bored/homesick they'll be gone.
I don't blame him but do question his commitment to AFL.

Matt Crouch is an available free agent in 2024 apparently, averages 28.3 disposals and 4.7 clearances in his 136 game career, sat out 2021 with a groin injury. Turns 28 in April 2023. Might be worth a look.

"Adelaide are understood to have made midfielder Matt Crouch aware that his tenure at West Lakes won't be extended beyond his current contract.

The questions around Crouch's future now look to be answered, with Crows coach Matthew Nicks understood to have notified his senior ball-winner of the club's decision not to offer a new deal beyond 2023, according to Nine News reporter, Will Crouch."

I wonder if Will Crouch is related to Matt Crouch and has some inside information?

Looks like Oscar Steene will get the nod for the final spot on our list.

As cub reporter Laurie Holden pointed out in Nick's Other AFL, with Zac Williams injury, surely Oleg Markov's manager would be in touch with Carlton.

New captain Darcy Moore led celebrations on Monday for the newest Magpie, South Australian Oscar Steene, who was announced at Monday’s training session as the latest addition to the club’s playing ranks.

“Oscar filled a position of need and has fitted into our environment seamlessly,” Collingwood football boss Graham Wright said.

“He has shown a good ability to learn and improve his craft, and his self-development is getting better day-by-day.

“We believe Oscar could play a key role in our AFL program this year and into the future.”
