Jok is worthy of a rookie selection, tall, strong mark, endurance & speed, we can work with that.

Plus he'd already have a report with some of the players and coaches as a former VFL player.

Makes sense as a rookie selection.

190cm, turns 23 in Jan.

Can anyone tell me if Anton Tohill and Tom Wilson are still on our playing list? Thank you

Surely they must be. Tohill signed a two-year contract. I don't know if it's legal to offer a one-year contract to a rookie.

The club's FB site reports that Reid, Madgen, Broomhead and Wills have all got one year extension.

Broomhead as a rookie, Madgen as Cat B.

A lot of one-year deals means we're getting ready to clear salary cap in the 2020 trade period to land a very big fish!

Good afternoon Mr Miyagi
Either what you suggest OR to clear space for the Grundy/De Goey/Moore/Pendlebury resignings.

Or both.

If we were another Melbourne club, we might pay Broomhead a little extra in a brown paper bag to forward on to his buddy in number 4.

Would be fabulous if Broomhead has a great run at it and can show us what he is truly capable of. Ditto Wills. Im assuming 2020 will be Reidy's last season- one hopes that the development of Will Kelly and Darcy Cameron may, essentially, make this premiership winning veteran, redundant to needs.

Madgen is depth who could be superseded if we picked up Michael Hartley as a delisted free-agent.

Good luck to Tim Broomhead. I wish him well & hope he can make it back to the first 22.

Getting his fitness back in 2019 hopefully leads to some Senior game time in 2020. Tim needs a fresh challenge and faith shown by the coach. Bit like Leon in 2011, reckon Tim has the kicking skills, poise and vision to play the Back Pocket role. We have a gap here and think it's worth a try.

According to the Club’s website, Travis Varcoe has also been signed for another year.

Just an instant response to what took place

That was the incorrect response, you should have said, "as for fortune and as for fame, I never invited them in". Very Happy
