This is why I dont go to these huge matches, no more, because of this. Id only go if I paid top membership , and got a reserved seat, amongst my Magpie peers

Unfortunately that doesn't always work either. We pay top membership, have reserved seats in the past players section which I consider a pretty exclusive section, but even there, on Sunday there was one Carlton supporter a few rows in front of us who was mouthing off and it was getting a bit heated with the people around him. He had the good sense to run off in the last 30 seconds or who knows what might have happened.

There’s just too much alcohol consumed. Reduce that and you’ll reduce the incidence of violence and aggression.

Quitting drinking will be one of the best choices you make in your life.

Yep, that goes for everywhere, not just the footy. 80% of calls to police are for alcohol related incidents.

There will always be drinking and people who can’t handle alcohol and people who are aggressive morons with or without booze. Just saying we were in the news again, so if you see your mates or fellow supporters getting riled up and provoked by opposition, just encourage them to ignore it and not get sucked in. Side by side!

It’s never the player who starts the fight that gets pinged, it’s always the player who retaliates. Wink
