Question about umpires deciding when tbs ball has been kicked 15m.
In the Adelaide game there seemed to be a lot of play-on calls for not going 15m.
Is it 15m from where the player kicks the ball? E.g. If a player takes a mark, walks back, the. Kicks the ball 15m from their position over the mark is that considered sufficient? Or would it be 15m from the mark point? I feel the umpires today are paying the later. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Can someone explain why Daicos took the kick from where it landed rather than from where Rankin was called for running too far? |

Can someone tell me why the Irish traitor wasn't pinged for holding the ball early in the last quarter? _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

^^Josh did take it from where he was pinged for running too far.
I can't believe that there is any controversy discussion, he clearly ran more than 20m (let alone 15m) without bouncing. An obvious free kick. _________________ Go Pies! |

^You're right...Just had a look at the replay. For some reason when watching live I thought he took the free kick from the pocket not the flank. Foxtel measured how far Rankin ran without bouncing...24 metres... there's still commentators and journos arguing they should have let it go...😳 |

Thank god the umps got it right with Rankine running too far. After Richards not getting a free a minute earlier and it would have been on like donkey Kong. |

Horrendous day umpiring was a atrocious all day
Only correct decision was the crows player running too far
Only decision that was to our favour |

It shits me the umps were red hot on arms around the waist (as instructed) in recent weeks — today, crickets. Mason’s jumper stretched like a sail. |

Rankine clearly ran too far. 24.2m to be exact.
Hill should have received a free just before Half Time. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Why is it always the ones at the very end everyone moans about. As mentioned earlier Hill gets coat hangered and umpire calls play on, imagine that happened at the end of the game and Rankine call was earlier on?
Did these same stooges carrying on mentioned the missed down the ground free missed from Nicky D that cost us a win against Essendon _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

15m from where he kicks the ball. You'll see a lot of players go back 10m then the next mark will be nearly beside the previous one! |
