Talent raids have begun.

Maddie Prepaskis has signed with Bombers. She will leave a big hole at the Blues - just won her 3rd B&F. Bombers have also snared Georgia Gee from the Blues.

Izzy Huntington has requested a trade from Bulldogs to GWS.

Reports that the Swans are after the Kangaroos Ash Riddell who is one of their better midfielders.

This is a worry. Who is unsigned at Collingwood? And do we have our eye on anyone?

Not sure who is signed with the Pies.

I thought that clubs could only sign players up & including the current season pending the inclusion of the 4 new clubs to the competition. Basically it is open slather for the new teams, they can go after whoever they want with chequebooks open.

Lauren Arnell has been announced as inaugural Port coach. Arnell retired after winning the 2021 premiership with Brisbane.

They had been reports that Port may try to lure Steve Symonds back to SA but thankfully of the Pies nothing came of it.

Bonnie Toogood is going to the Bombers from Bulldogs.
Another top player gone from the Dogs. Bombers were also after Ellie Blackburn but she has agreed to stay with the Dogs.

I expect that any announcements about Pies players leaving will come after the B&F on 22 April.

So far only Jaimee Lambert has been linked to the Hawks. I think they will also be targeting some of our backline players including Ruby and Lauren.

Erin Phillips has signed with Port.

Despite a couple of headlines, this was not much of a shock. Always on the cards once Port got a licence, the only question was whether she would keep playing or head into coaching.

Sophie Alexander the 1st Pie to move on, going to the Bombers.

Assume they are going through exit interviews etc. at present as they announced Purcell was not offered a new contract.

Most of the signings are the new clubs.
