Boy did I get it wrong 😬 As usual I fell into the trap of overrating the SL batting but never again😡 My 89 year old mother can bat better than about 2 of their pop so called top order batsman. Saying that they were “Pathetic” is being far too kind. I have heard the bullshit about SL “learning from their mistakes” for 50 years and they never ever do. They are an embarrassment to Sri Lanka and test cricket. They never say it like it is in SL and that is a huge part of the problem because they can’t or don’t deal with the realities and of course the politicians will now get involved and if SL lose this series, they will as bloody usual sack the coaches, sack the selectors, sack the current players and finally sack the cricket board and appoint a “temporary” committee that will rule for ten years without being democratically elected. You just watch.
