Old news. He will re-sign soon and Swans know that

If De Goey goes for big coin then we get a first round compo pick. I would not piss that up against the wall for a 181 cm wingman

It would be pretty weird if the Swans offered Darcy big bucks after trading Aliir Aliir to Port for a future second rounder

I'm confident Moore will sign a contract soon.

Our only worry will be JDG. And there's a bit to play out there as we all know.

Sure, but not a FA and will a pick 4 from WA want to come after Sydney finished 11 places above us last year?

Need to ask the question, the kid may hate living in Sydney or he may have a soft spot for pies, who knows?

A quality key forward is the obvious gap and must be our main priority over the next 12-24 months.

Assuming we finish low enough on the ladder, Harry Lemmey would likely be our KPF target at the draft. S A tall who is a similar type to McDonald. The kid is built already and is on track to go in the first few picks. It makes sense that he would / should be our key forward priority at the end of the season. If we keep both Moore and DeGoey, I’m guessing we would only have enough left over to invest in kids anyway.

Fair call, I suspect it all depends whether we finish bottom 4 or higher.

Like sidebottom to move on.

From Damo, he said expect the Swans to have a crack at Moore again, they want a key defender.

Why give away AA though who became AA last year?

It’s a bittersweet proposition isn’t it? If we show improvement in our team development we are likely to finish in the 12 - 14 spots. If we slump badly again we can grab a highly rated youngster. Of course we could always trade for good players as well. Can’t wait to see our adventure ride this season.

As expected, he stays. But it's a big deal... unless you compare it to the Buddy 120 year deal.

As mentioned earlier, I think we wont be involved much in this years FA. Darcy Moore (Rumoured to have re-signed) is the priority. Jamie Elliott and Steele Sidebottom may get deals later in the year, and there's a bit to play out on Jordan De Goey. Once we've sorted out our own backyard, we can go from there.

Brayshaw has put talks on hold, with links to WA clubs. But I think he'll stay. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-trade-news-rumours-whispers-2022-angus-brayshaw-tim-english-contract-talks-stall-out-of-contract-teams-interested/news-story/2154bdfc79525cbc4c60c6d1e726fba7

So we have Jordy and Darcy both free agents yet to commit. Interesting to see how this plays out. That is a big commitment from Swannies to Heeney.

McStay is an absolute spud, Jessie White like in that he shows a bit but never delivers, a change of scene may help, but at 26 I'd suggest not

Rumour 5 or 6 year offer for Moore. We never learn. Should be max 4 years for any player, 5th year only for durable players
