Doesn’t sound like someone we're expecting to be up in round 1

Anyone? Any info about the kid??? Ive been looking at tapes, studying whats available, and was amazed Riley Bonner and Harley Balic were still sitting there, but no... Who the ____ is Sier? Never saw his name at all! What does Dekka know???

It might be blind faith but I have faith that our recruiting team have picked the right guy despite the murmurings from many.

The club were quick off the mark to pick him rather than having two minutes to decide. I've never heard of him but I hardly know many of the young draftees as it is so hopefully this is a hidden gem sprung up by Hine and co.

After all no one knew who Tom Langdon was two years ago and drafting him was met with the same reaction as now.

Pick 32 in a shallow draft. What did people expect? A Pendlebury/Swan type with a dash of Daics?

Josh Kennedy like player by the sounds of it, really big bodied mid, who really didn't get fit enough to play footy until this year.

Didn't play much under 18s at all for the Northern Knights.

Gutsy pick from Hine, trust him as always.

I expect that as a minimum.

Yes it was a gutsy pick from Hine.
I still don't trust him totally.
Thank god it wasn't another midget.
I like the sound of him and he is from Banyule!

According to a Carlton supporter on BigFooty

Quote:
Brayden won marcellin'so b&f in a premiership year. Had 40 and kicked 4 in the grand final against PEGS. Played senior footy for Banyule as a 17 yo and was dominant. 191 cm with big upside. Competitive beast.

The more I read, the more I'm convinced that Hine has found a hidden gem!

Quote:
Profile: Sier is a big-bodied midfielder who stands at 190cm and carries a playing weight of 91kg. He is a slightly unknown commodity who played two games for the Northern Knights in 2015. In his pair of appearances he averaged 15 disposals, three tackles and delivered the ball at 80 per cent efficiency. He spent the majority of the season playing for his school Marcellin, where he won their best and fairest. He has good skills, uses the ball efficiently and has matured into a good-sized player.

Him and Maynard could be a nice combo

Of course I have never heard of him and now he is at Collingwood so is a champion especially as he is yet to play a game
