According to our web site Will Hoskin-Elliot will play his 100th game on Saturday and Tom Phillips will play his 50th. I doubt wed find any room on our banner for those milestones being GF day. Well done to these two boys. Both due for a good game. I hope they both play blinders and celebrate their milestones in the best possible style.

Hopefully they the AFL with hand them a medal after the game to congratulate them, in fact, they should give one to the whole team!

Congrats to both players. What a time to play your milestones.

Very interesting that he will take over as the most games played on the MCG. I wasn't aware of this record coming under threat.

Most games as Collingwood captain or acting captain
161 - Nathan Buckley

153 - Syd Coventry

149* - Scott Pendlebury

Most club games
313 - Tony Shaw

306 - Gordon Coventry

301* - Scott Pendlebury

Most games at the MCG

200 - Kevin Bartlett (Rich)

195* - Scott Pendlebury (Coll)

Going into season 2020:
Has:
Played 301 Games.
Premiership Player: 2010
Norm Smith Medal: 2010
6× All-Australian Team: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2019
3× AFL ANZAC Day Medal: 2010, 2011, 2019 (Tied record)
5× Copeland Trophy: 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016
Most Brownlow votes from a Collingwood player
Top ten for total Brownlow votes. (He's 9th).
Collingwood Captain 2014–Current

Needs:
5 games to pass S. Coventry (153) for second place for most games as club captain.

6 games on the MCG to have the most games played at the venue.

6 games to pass G. Coventry (306) for second place at the club.

12 games to pass Buckley (161) for most games as club captain.

13 games to pass T. Shaw (313) for the club record.

8 more Brownlow votes to pass Leigh Matthews as the highest total vote winner without winning the medal.*
*(Depending on Joel Selwood votes)

16 more Brownlow votes to enter the top 5 for total votes.**
**(Depending on Joel Selwood and Dangerfield votes)

Wouldn't it be nice to see him win another Anzac Medal? And become the outright leader for medals won too.

He needs one Copeland Trophy to equal Buckleys 6 wins. This might be tough with Grundy and Treloar, amongst others, taking over as the clubs best players.

I cant see him winning a Brownlow now at 32, I think Buckley was the last player to win a Brownlow in his 30s, when he was 31 in 2003? But wouldn't that be the best if he won it!

As far as All-Australians, it's worth noting that he is in every squad of 40 since 2009. With 6 selections in the final AA team, he is 2 behind Robert Harvey, Mark Ricciuto, Gary Ablett, Jr. & Lance Franklin who have won 8 total selections. (Buckley has 7 and Dangerfield also sits on 7 and is likely to join the leaders). Its a shame he didnt sneak into an extra team or two.

Above all of this, we need another flag. Wouldn't that be great!!

Thanks to the mods for starting a new thread as it needed to happen due the the original thread having a loading error. Still some good content in that thread about the greatest Pies of all time, which no doubt will be a hot topic once these milestones of Pendles start happening.

Should everything go well and he plays every game in 2020 from Round 1 onwards, I believe this is how it should pan out..

Equals Gordon Coventry on 306
Round 5 against Port Adelaide

Game 307
Round 6 against Essendon (Anzac Day)

Equals Tony Shaw on 313
Round 12 against Melbourne (Queen's Birthday)

New Collingwood Games Record Holder with 314 Games
Round 14 against Sydney in Sydney

Hope I've worked this out correctl

I've booked everything to go to the game in Brisbane, but am contemplating going to the SCG game as it could be Pendles milestone match!

So, there must be a serious question, now, whether there will be enough footy this year for Scott to achieve the Collingwood games record.

Well they haven't canned the season or the opening round... not yet anyway.

I will say, I'm glad I didn't organise a Sydney trip.
