Australia has a massive amount of geologically stable wasteland in central Australia. Perfect for the safe storage of fissile material.

Maybe I'm wrong and happy to be corrected, but I haven't seen any evidence that renewables such as wind and solar will be able to provide baseload power in the way nuclear and coal does.


Solar and wind cannot provide reliable base load power.
