i was shattered, heartbroken, destroyed in 2018, i truly believe we were not allowed to win,

last years prelim left me numb, shattered, pissed off, at the whole world, we have to win it this year for my sanity.

I totally agree with this sentiment.

Last years PF left me badly jaded, eroding much empathy I had for the playing group as a whole. Such a wasted opportunity.
If I sense any player complacency in 2020, I will be naming and shaming, and dropping. Nothing less than a premiership this season is acceptable.

^The 2018 Grand Final broke me more than any other match. I still struggle to comprehend the nature of the defeat.

I had no reaction to last year's Prelim. We didn't deserve to win it and only bothered to show up in the last 15 minutes of the final quarter.

Hopefully happier times are ahead this year.

18 was soul destroying in as many was you want to look at it. it broke my spirit for the game and I no longer give a fat rats about the footy season in general, or about which player goes where in the trade period, who retires, who's been injured or who's been playing up.
myself, I feel complacency and to change the mood I need to see hard uncompromising emerging talent that stays on the park. for too long now we are continually let down by the same injured players and the seasons continually pass us by and we ponder the hypothetical. we just need some dumb luck.

The two lots of people I need more from are:
Fitness Team
Medical Team
Just think how the PF would have went with DeGoey and Cox playing and getting that one goal needed.

In term of players I'd like to see breakout years from Daicos, Quaynor, Tyler Brown and the new big guy Cameron.
I'd also like Trealor to go from a very good player to great, he has the skills to win a Brownlow.

What have the medical and fitness teams got to do with Cox missing the PF?
