This was on FB and noted as a Nathan tweet on his slant on leadership
“Leadership is hard -put your hand up and accept what could have been
done better
Then accept vitiriol hurt and pain
Listen and understand empathy
Then take action for today and then tomorrow

Was it as part of public backlash over current crisis ????

It was suggested he like other sports people were unsure the Federal Government leader understands leadership

Well, either it was directed at Morrison, or Bucks just randomly decided to tweet about leadership for no reason at a time when ScoMo is being criticised for his lack of it

I think it was mostly likely directed at Morrison given the timing

I think Bucks would make a great PM. I mean, if we want someone who could really shirtfront Putin, who better? Make it happen!

Agree with the sentiment. General Discussion is about Collingwood football. Politics can be discussed on the Victoria Park Tavern section of Nicks ( even if I do think Scotty from Marketing is inept as a leader and a religious fundamentalist tool)

^It relates to our club coach. Some people will think he should be concentrating on the Pies. Others, like me, will welcome his message to a PM who appears to lack empathy and is struggling to handle the current bushfire crisis effectively.

If you don't like the thread and the inevitable push into right wing vs left wing political views that it will turn into, just steer clear.

Providing the topic is Collingwood-related and this is (and not the cricket, WW3 etc) then I'm not sure why it can't be in this forum.

Scomo is the PM, and Buckley coaches the Pies,
One is elected leader, the other appointed by McGuire,
But if Buckley’s job had been put to a vote the result be easily told,
Gone after three seasons, so beware Bucks before you scold.
