Thanks for sharing but I vehemently disagree. I love Queensland.
The Daintree river and rainforest
Port Douglas
Mossman Gorge
Even Cairns and the Gold coast have positives

Probably wouldn’t want to live there, but I had a pretty positive impression of Brisbane the couple of times I’ve been there – really friendly people and a great arts scene (plus I actually really like the way the city is laid out). Gold Coast is a deeply weird place, but it has its own charm. Anything north of those two is a mystery to me.

Then you really need to get north of there to really experience Queensland
